Make It Rain in Here !!

The crowd was amazing and we can't thank them enough for their support

Was it Isner vs Mahut in an 11 hour match with the fifth set ending 70-68? I think not, but given the chance i could only assume the coverage would have been just as attentive.  This EPIC battle was set up for FBC lore as Fitz/Paje took on the mighty Nolan/Badger duo in the pouring rain and winds comparable to the Hurricane of 86' !! This could be a bit of an exaggeration but it certainly paints the picture and as always you think you are a lot better then it looks to others and video which depicts how slow you actually are.

Paje was a lob master all match annoying the living hell out of everyone...even his partner, haha The guy was on fire with the kiss of the racket and then the patented stumble of a lumber jack reaching for a drop shot. Down 1-4 in the first Fitz/Paje stormed back to capture the first set at the disgust of Nolan/Badger.....yada yada yada in the next couple of sets and then the fourth was the never ending, shot making festival of paddle. Opps, run out of time and gotta run for a flight but you get the picture...it was fun, good paddle, great weather to play in and might be hard to live up to.

Oh, wait... i wanted to address the state of the paddle facilities !! They SUCK !! Overhead light has been burned out for weeks making the corner feel like the isolation chamber that Redgate must use for his gimps. the hut has less amenities then some guy ice fishing on lake Minitankaa, the court heaters don't work when it snows/rains but are fine if it's 80 degrees out. I have not time to discuss the courts but we all know these things have been through the ringer...........please someone send an email to try and get something fixed.

Final match score:

Fitz/Paje defeats Nolan/Badger 6-4, 4-6, 6-3, 13-11
